Authentically Italian, Prego, the resort’s specialty restaurant features freshly baked bread, pizzas and pastas prepared heartily by our team of chef. Prego serves not only a scrumptious a la carte menu, but an extensive wine list with selections from around the world that complements every meal.

Signature dishes include carpaccio di manzo, beef fillet garnished with rucola or rocket leaves, marinated mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and Italy’s legendary Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. For seafood enthusiasts, guazzetto ai fruitti di mare a spicy shellfish soup with mixed seafood highlights the finest traditions of Italian coastal cuisine. Lasagne al forno is a perennial crowd-pleaser, rich layers of beef ragout, pasta, bechamel sauce and parmesan cheese baked to golden perfection in the oven. Risotto mantecato ai funghi selvatici e parmigiano e tartufo is a classic Italian wild mushroom risotto, creamy arborio short-grain rice cooked in rich stock and served with shavings of savory-sweet parmesan cheese. Seafood lovers who are also pizza fans will be able to have it all with the Prego pizza, a decadent lobster pizza with barbecue sauce, red onion and black olives. The wonderfully light and flavorful branzino in crosta di sale, patate novelle al vapore, burro al limone is a salt-crusted seabass served with steamed new potatoes, fennel and lemon butter sauce.

Dessert lovers will be spoilt for choice with Prego’s famous chocolate mud pie, zuccotto al cioccolato, and the classic Italian tiramisu tradizionale, traditional tiramisu made of fresh, creamy, light-as-a-feather mascarpone mousse and espresso, which comes in a choice of brandy or non-alcoholic versions.
