Enveloped by tropical gardens, intimate Dulang is a gateway to the heritage of Bali. Evenings begin with a purifying handwashing ritual, and the dining experience that follows is inspired by the island’s ancient royal feasts - dishes showcase the distinct cooking traditions and rare ingredients that flourish in Bali. Dinner begins with revitalising loloh cemcem, a local drink made from fresh herbs to an old family recipe, and ends with Kopi Luwak, one of the world’s most precious coffees. Signature dishes in between might include chilli bonito fish fillet baked in banana leaf or pandan crepes delicately topped with grated coconut, all enjoyed while dancers sashay and musicians play rindik instruments beautifully.
